Audience targeting

George is targeting young people and potential future business owners to try and represent a realistic outlook on the world and how to try and be realistic with future goals. It also presents to respect their teachers as the messages they say are true and should be listened to and understand they all have their own lives and own things going on outside of teaching. He is also targeting adults and how to deal with challenging people and also families of those who were affected by the Grenfell tower disaster

Audience appeal

Audiences may like this as it may be a message that both older people and younger people use as a way to live their lives and try to educate each other, younger people will be attracted to this more as it shows how the treatment of a teacher can effect them and how after a period of time, they will understand how true the teacher in the first place.

BBC Remits

Educates people on how to be realistic and educate people on the realism of businesses and dreams and ambitions and how important maths and other school subjects are. Inform by showing information on Grenfell tower disaster and how different demographics of people have it worse than others. This episode of the podcast is also presented through the entertainment of a documentary or episode style instead of just a normal talking podcast helps create new imaginary and helps visualise what is going on in the episode

BBC's diversity and inclusion plan

This episode covers people who would live in the Grenfell tower which would be people renting or who cant afford a house and who would need government financial help. It also covers young and ethnic minorities who would struggle to make their mark on the world and struggle to be as successful as white people in Britain through the use of data and percentages to relay information and present to other people the challenges faced by this community.

Henry Jenkins Fandom

I think that audience are included in creating media meanings through the way a text or piece of media is represented. In Grenfell story the audience set a feeling of pity and understanding with the teacher and then it changed to sadness when finding out what happened to the teach, which even though it is not confirmed, it is given the impression based on the non answering phone call responses.

Target audience is for younger people to respect their teachers and is also aimed at them due to use of language an London slang words and for older people in the teacher profession. Will engage people of young and black society and the content of the Grenfell story will relate to ethnic minorities as that's who it mostly affected.

Audience are positioned in a story setting where a storyline is being narrated to the audience and where there isn't much audience engagement and contains a lot of indirect address however uses music to keep engaged. The content in the episode is rather generic until the end when it is understood about Grenfell tower.

I think most things in the episode will be negotiated recepted due to some of the ideologies of the Grenfell tower and peoples lives in London being accepted by the audience yet the audience may have different views on the fire overall or of peoples lives in general as may have own experiences or thoughts.
