Body language of characters is repeated in the episode - emotions and tears represented to show fear in the people who have returned to find out they are dead and people alive don't know how to support them/tell them

Setting and lighting is commonly darker or in more isolated locations

Positioning and facial expressions of victor grow fear to the audience
