The link to the lost boys who had a specific tagline which is the narration of what san Junipero stands for where people party all night and never get any older after dying in the real world. Shows the baudrillard links of the lack of difference between simulation and real life. This intertextuality is in place of San Junipero to present the stages of the lives of people that live there. Max Headroom and cocktail are also other references to show the link to the time period that they represent. 




Emphasis on style over substance



In San Junipero it is clear yorkie is different to other people based on the her appearance and uses her style to portray her persoanlity
