TASK 2

Action 1:

Techniques which are used the use of language to make a pun by the phrase Cor-Bin. This is in bold white font which helps catch the eye of the reader with a bold statement with a clear and obvious message written in it. The imagine included on the page, spams the full page and has a clear ideology of the labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. The front cover is trying to influence readers about how to vote and who to vote for. The strength of the image and headline underneath will influence readers as it will make people feel that if they vote for Corbyn the whole country will follow the location he is in on the front cover and be rubbish. The attention to detail on the picture, both helps emphasise how dirty the bin is and how he fits being in there. Also in the newspaper cover down the left hand side there is a column of reasons as to why he is negative and will make people build a negative impression around him and feel if they vote for him, they then are associating and supporting all those things. In the mini article the Sun have included next to the picture they also use extreme language to display their political opinions which influence them such as 'Britain needs rescuing from Labours far-left extremists, countries spectacular progress over 35 years.

TASK 3

Action 2:

The newspaper front cover is more information based and provides a lot of figures and facts from the parties which undermine the Prime Minister. It is clear that this magazine is against conservatives as it gives the impression that the evidence is stacked up against Boris and yet he still takes zero responsibility for party gate. The designers have included the figures in a different colour to emphasise those points and add more evidence for their reason to influence people to turn against the Prime Minister. They also display the ideology he is lying and cannot be trusted. The emphasise of the headline being ZERO SHAME tries to get people to see the real side of Boris and to urge or have a desire for him to quit. The picture included is close up as it makes him extremely associated with the text and whole party gate even though he refuses to present shame and refuses to quit.
