 Charlie Brooker = Creator and Writer of Black Mirror - well known for postmodern media about technology and future. Past success brings in pre sold audiences

Channel 4 - Worked with zeppotron and endemol to help create and distribute to numerous locations for season 1  and 2. Channel 4 recognised and realised it would be too financially unviable to fund the show, as Channel 4 is a not for profit company so limited budget

Increased production costs - always changing set and cast etc

Endemol sold to Netflix for about $40 billion, as they had the bigger budget to create episodes - helping Brooker work on bigger budget and exciting episodes. For series 3 on Netflix - released 6 episodes due to trend in binge watching. Netflix helped commission series 3,4,5 and film bandersnatch. Increased budget allowed to be filmed in more locations (south africa - San Junipero)- numerous visual effects - many song rights - First written show for Netflix - Laid back and Americanised, Charlie Brooker then changed it to not follow american style. Used poster and trailers. Branded to board games. Book and theme park rides. Netflix not regulated by OFCOM - why more content is graphic.  

Annabel Jones was the co producer for Black Mirror, alongside Charlie Brooker. She worked at zeppotron where Charlie worked, owned by Endemol

Both Jones and Brooker own Broke and Bones production company
