Founded 2013 after the death of a 17 year old Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. It has been established worldwide and grew at the time of George Floyds death by a police officer in 2020. They use multiple hashtags over social media to spread awareness and protest views. Trayvon Martin was killed after going to the shops to buy skittles and iced tea, before walking home and past George Zimmerman's car, to which the latter was suspicious of Martin and phones the police. He then proceeded to get out of his car and follow him armed with a gun, without police permission, and when Martin confronted him about following him, they started fighting with it ending in Martin getting shot. He was on the phone to his girlfriend at the time to voice his suspicions and she was worried and presumed he had been hit when she could hear his earphones hit the floor and call ultimately ending.

Slavery

American slavery bring in slaves from Africa. The American civil war was caused to block the introduction of slavery to western America. One of the main people who was influential in civil rights movement was Martin Luther King who was an activist for black people rights and fought racial inequality but got assassinated by a gunshot on April 4th 1968 aged 38.
